OUR STORY
Edge started in Kelowna in 2009 with Ryan, a camera, an edit suite and an unhealthy obsession with making things better.
It was grassroots in every sense. One person doing the producing, directing, shooting, editing answering emails between exports. The company grew the honest way, one project, one relationship and one recommendation at a time.
Today, Edge is a bespoke team of directors, producers, cinematographers, editors and client specialists. We are still small enough to care deeply about every project, but experienced enough to take on national campaigns, complex productions and stories with something real at stake.
Our work has taken us from local businesses in the Okanagan to projects with Samsung, TELUS, KF Aerospace, national agencies, broadcasters, charities and some genuinely fascinating people across Canada.
We have created award winning documentaries, helped major brands connect with audiences and produced work that has screened in theatres, toured communities across British Columbia and reached people across the country. Most recently, BC is Burning received four Leo Award nominations and won Best Documentary at the Okanagan Screen Awards.
We are proud of the recognition, but more proud that many of our clients keep coming back. Some relationships have lasted years and produced hundreds of videos together.
The team has grown. The cameras have improved. The projects have become bigger and more ambitious.
